What all language learners need when they have reached a certain level of Italian is a reference grammar. Maria Rossini’s book serves this purpose most effectively. Thanks to its uncluttered overview of the basic elements of grammar it is useful in two ways: On each page we find a sustainable source of information, neither too much nor too little. Each page deals with a theme that can be read when reviewing the patterns of the language or when looking up or checking a specific form. Its illustrations are easy on the eye and aid the memorizing process. Throughout there is consistent humour and lightness of touch. I recommend this book wholeheartedly.



Zwei wichtige Eigenschaften bedingen einen sicheren und nachhaltigen Spracherwerb: Klarheit und Humor. Maria Rossinis neues Nachschlagewerk erfüllt beide Voraussetzungen. Wer die Sprachkenntnisse in Italienisch vertiefen will, wird mit dieser handlichen Grammatik gut bedient sein. Ihre Tabellen sind übersichtlich, nirgendswo überladen, und eignen sich sowohl zum Nachschlagen oder zur Wiederholung der Hauptstrukturen der Grammatik. Die Illustrationen sind frisch, manchmal keck, und die allgemeine Farbgebung wirkt überall harmonisierend. Ich empfehle Maria Rossinis Buch mit Nachdruck! (pubblicato il 04/05/2022)

This is a very nice and colorful learning book for the Italian language. It covers all the main grammar subjects and gives you new insights. The funny manga-style pictures really make the learning experience a lot more pleasant and help you memorize.
I would recommend this book for anyone from beginner to advanced.

Dit is een leuk en kleurrijk studieboek voor de Italiaanse taal. Het behandelt al de voornaamste grammatica onderwerpen en geeft je nieuwe inzichten. De grappige plaatjes in manga-stijl maken het studeren leuker en helpen je zaken uit het hoofd te leren.
